VARIBOOST1 - Electronic ignition for 2CV

You think about fitting an electronic ignition to your 2CV to enjoy all the advantages of this technology (maintenance-free, no troubles with humidity, better starts, lower gas mileage etc...).

But you hesitate for two main reasons :

  1. You're feared to be faced with those irritating erratic electronic troubles like in recent cars.
  2. You definitively want to keep your 2CV as close as possible to its original condition.
VARIBOOST1 electronic ignition was specially designed with those two points in mind :

  1. A switch allows instantly going back to the standard ignition system if the electronic fails.
  2. VARIBOOST1 fits with no modification of the wiring, nothing to dismantle and no drilling.
