Come and join us at our annual Bastille Day Rendez-Vous & Rally Around New York City, Sunday, July 14th, 2002. This year is a very special one as we will be celebrating New York City. We kindly request that all Citroens and Velosolex be registered with us for the event. There will be special gifts for registered participants along the rally route checkpoints and a chance to win a brand new "Made in France" Velosolex at the conclusion of the rally.

Le club Citroën et Vélosolex de New York est heureux de vous annoncer son 3e Bastille Day Rendez-Vous et son Rally Around New York City qui se tiendra le dimanche 14 juillet 2002.
En 2001 cette rencontre avait réuni plusieurs Vélosolex, 37 Citroën et des milliers de spectateurs.
Pour l'année 2002, le thème sera :

Les roues de la liberté et de la démocratie ne tourneront jamais à l'envers

Nous prévoyons plus de 100 Vélosolex et Citroën participants.
Il y aura des points de contrôle et des cartes seront distribuées à chaque participant inscrit.
Tous les amis du Vélosolex et des Citroën du monde entier sont invités à participer à cette rencontre.

The staging point and line up will be on 122nd Street and Riverside Drive (Grant's Tomb) in Manhattan.
The Rally Around New York City will be officiated by French Consul General Robert Duqué  at 12:00 noon when we will start our drive through New York City.

We will provide a map and directions for all registered participants.

There will be 3 check points along the way.

• At the first check point all registered participants will receive a gift from Matrix Capital Group.
• At the second check point all registered participants will receive a gift from Bosco.
• At the third and last check point, velosolexamerica will hold a raffle for a brand new made-in-France Velosolex. This will be at Tribeca Grill, 375 Greenwich Street, (212-942-3900) where a special prix fix menu will be available.

Three years ago the event started with just 5 cars, last year it grew to 36 Citroens representing a long history of Citroen innovation, one WW2  jeep 6 Velosolex and a Peugeot. For this upcoming event we are hoping to do even better.  We invite everyone who loves Citroen, Velosolex, all things French and New York City to come celebrate with us.
