Annual “Rally & Rendez-Vous Around New York City” with Classic Citroen Autos and Velosolex Motorbikes
--- Classic Citroen owners will hold their annual Bastille Day Rally & Rendez- Vous Around New York City, featuring the Velosolex Motorized Bicycle. Over 100 autos and a few dozen motorbikes will cruise a specified route map with various check points through out the city. The passion for these classic cars and motorbikes is shared by a cross-section of owners that include businessmen, businesswomen and celebrities. Started six years ago with just 5 Citroens, the event grew to includes dozens of cars and motorbikes each year and to date is the largest and only such event of its kind in the world. A delegation from the Consulate of France will officiate at the 12 noon startup. The Rally will conclude at Café 1-2-3 - 123 West 44th Street, Manhattan.

Rally around New York City on sunday July 13th 2003.
Start will be at 122nd St. and Riverside Drive "Grant's Tomb' at 12:00 PM.
You can start there or visit the rally along the way at 60th St. and 5th Ave. 'Bastille Day Street Fair' or at Washington Square Park or at the final stop "Les Deux Gamins" a bistro style French restaurant at 132 W. Houston St. @ Sullivan in Soho. At the restaurant enjoy Remy Pannier wine and Calvados Boulard.
